Already have a rear-feed lower intake for your Coyote and looking for the added features of the new VMP Leviathan Lower Intake Manifold? This conversion kit utilizes existing parts from your current intake manifold to convert to a Leviathan spec lower intake manifold. The Leviathan lower intake capitalizes on VMP’s years of development of technology for forced induction applications.

The engineers at VMP applied their extensive experience with air-to-water intercooling systems, as seen in the 2020+ Apex Predator line, the ‘07-’14 Shelby GT500, and rear-feed supercharged ‘11-’17 Coyote Mustangs, to develop the Leviathan lower intake manifold.

Over several years, VMP has developed intercooler technology for various applications, from daily-driven to full-blown racecar. The Leviathan lower intake features optional rear ports for those that have configured their vehicle with cooling lines that run through the firewall/bulkhead.

  • As-cast high flow intake manifold design

    • 50% larger runner entry vs Roush Gen1 and Gen2

    • Matches Gen2, Gen3, and GT350 cylinder ports

    • Larger bucket for improved airflow around intercooler core to runners

  • Patent-pending bucket design to improve cooling and airflow distribution with VMP power bulge and power triangle

  • Additional intercooler exposure under by-pass area

  • 20% larger intercooler opening

  • Supercharger bolt-pattern fits GT500 or Roush ‘11-’17

    • Supercharger mounting hardware not included, see VMP-ACK008

Includes:

  • Leviathan upper and lower intake aluminum castings with all hardware and gaskets

  • VMP-SUG000 Boost-Lok gasket for supercharger mounting flange

  • 2x 1/8 NPT plugs
  • Block-off plates for front or rear water in & out ports
  • Lower intake to cylinder head mounting hardware
  • Fuel rail mounting bolts and spacers*

Installation considerations:

  • To mount your existing Roush or VMP intercooler core with rear in-out ports longer floating tubes are required
  • Intake works with common Coyote fuel rails, if you need rails see VMP kits in related items below
  • Mounting height of fuel rail is designed for 48 mm injectors such as ID, DW, FIC, or factory 07-14 GT500. Aftermarket injectors have removeable top hats to change height from 60 mm to 48 mm
  • Included spacers and bolts allow you to use 60 mm height injectors ONLY with Coyote bolt pattern superchargers
  • Intake may be used with direct injected Gen3 Coyote with VMP-INA047 spacers and specially modified bucket PN TBD. Intake clears heads with DI removed.
