VMP '11-'17 Coyote High-Flow 1" Hose Intercooler Tube Kit for VMP/Roush lower intake manifold

This kit includes a set of high flow 1" fittings that bolt onto the outside of the lower intake.  They have an 80 degree angle to connect to 1" ID rubber hose.  We recommend Gates heater hose.

Internal floating water transfer tubes are NOT included.

To use with stock Roush intercooler:
VMP-SUC029
1" to 3/4" short intercooler floating transfer tube reducer/increaser for 5.0 L VMP/Roush

To use with VMP intercooler upgrade SUC050:
VMP-SUC017
1" short intercooler floating transfer tube for 5.0 L VMP/Roush

Designed for those plumbing their intercooler system for 1" lines to increase water flow and thus cooling capacity.  You can expect to support 10-20GPM with larger lines depending on the pump you are using.

The stock intercooler system with 3/4" lines and the old-style Bosch pump flows 4.5 GPM, upgraded pumps like the Bosch brushless and Pierburg CW50 will increase flow rates to 6-8 GPM, however, above that, a limit is hit due to the stock fitting sizes.  The stock transfer tubes are only 1/2" ID and the manifold bungs only take a 3/4" hose.  This will limit flow rates even with larger pumps like the EMP.

These fittings, the required floating tubes, and a properly built intercooler system can result in temps staying near ambient, or below ambient with an ICE tank, even in the most serious situations.

These fittings are great to pair with the VMP Multi-pass heat exchanger and a high flow pump such as the EMP or CMAX/Cobrajet.

Recommended for supercharged cars making over 1000 RWHP or over 20psi.
