Ribbed idler kit for new style VMP 8 & 10-rib kits. Included with full 8 & 10-rib kit packages

Includes:

  • 76 mm ribbed billet aluminum idler pulley with black annodize and 6204-2RS bearing 20 mm ID (VMP-76-8-20-RB)
  • Idler standoff for front cover idler boss (VMP-FSPC-20-8-10RB)
  • M8 bolt with large washer (208186)

This idler pulley is required for no-grind style FEAD when running the new style VMP 8&10-rib supercharger belt drive.

Compatible with:
Only works with new-style 8 and 10 rib kits that use the VMP/ATI balancers with a lip on each side of the supercharger drive pulley.

Notes regarding using this part on older VMP 8-rib kits:

This will work as a replacement part for old-style VMP 5% and 15% OD kits that used the ATI-918047N balancer with a grind-style FEAD. Replaces VMP-27-8-B. Related part numbers of the old-style 8-rib kits: VMP-SUP020, 50L8RIB, ATI50L5perONLY.

You must remove the 1 mm spacer washer from the Roush style tensioner when using this idler pulley. Your front cover must be well clearanced as this idler now has a lip on it.

The 10-rib version of this idler (VMP-SUI010) is not guaranteed to work on the old-style VMP 10-rib kits as it has not been tested, it may require additional 17 mm ID spacers to line up correctly because that kit requires spacers on the spider bracket.
