Height extenders allow use of short 48mm injectors in an application that takes tall 60mm injectors, such as using GT500 injectors in a 5.0L or 2003 Cobra 4.6l.
Examples include:
using M-9593-G302 injectors in a 11-17 Coyote 5.0L
using M-9593-M52 injectors in a 11-17 Coyote 5.0L
However, we highly recommend, and include in all VMP supercharger kits, our own VMP fuel rails which natively accept the shorter injectors with no adapters.
