VMP Custom Tune Update

Available for current*VMP tuning customers looking to update their tune files for new modifications or fuels.
* Current means same vehicle, same owner still within the tuning support time frame window*

Tunes included with supercharger kits

Revisions to the complimentary custom tune included with VMP’s supercharger kits are included with the purchase of the supercharger kit. This included tune is intended for use with the supercharger kit as supplied. Any modifications to the kit require a new tune purchase.

Before 6 months

Within the first 6 months of current tuning support purchase, tune updates that do not constitute a tuning level change will be provided for free if the car is currently being tuned by us and has good datalogs.
Modifications that require an increase in the tuning level will incur a charge.

After 6 months

Tuning for newly purchased VMP products
A free tune update is included with the purchase of any VMP product if a tuning level change is not required.

Tune updates
After 6 months of current tuning support purchase, tune updates for non-VMP products will incur a charge.

Please reply to the ticket with your calibrator or reach out to Sales@VMPPerformance.com to learn what level of tuning support you are currently.

After 18 months

A new tune will need to be purchased.

WHAT TO DO TO GET AN UPDATED TUNE:

Requesting a VMP tune update is as easy as confirming that the changes you're making are the recommended changes for the best performance, purchasing the appropriately priced tune update, and then letting us know of the changes made to your vehicle!
Below are the exact steps on to how to receive your tune update:

1. Confirm that your changes are what is recommended and supported, and how much the tune update would cost
   Reach out to Sales@VMPPerformance.com if you haven't already for part guidance, support and pricing
2. Purchase the appropriate tune update that supports your changes in modifications
3. Fill out the VMP Tune Order form, selecting CUSTOM TUNE UPDATEfrom the dropdown menu in the form and let us know what exactly you plan to change

   * Tune delivery is typically 3-5 business days from the time we receive the form entry *

That’s it! Once the form is submitted, an email chain will be created with the email address provided in the form. A VMP calibrator will be in contact to help you every step of the way!

DATALOGGING & DIAGNOSTICS:

VMP is happy to work with customers to address any concerns they may have. Limited datalogging support is available for up to 6 months after you've received your initial tune file(s).
This service allows the calibrator to provide insight into your vehicle's performance and diagnose any potential issues caused by mechanical failures or installation errors.
