We respect your privacy. Any and all the information collected on this site will be kept strictly confidential and will not be sold, reused, rented, disclosed, or loaned. Any information you provide will be held with the utmost care and will not be used in ways that you have not consented to. Our site is SSL secure. We never see, or store, your credit card information. It is passed directly to our payment processor and then discarded.

Ordering Info:

Payment on our website by Credit Card, Debit Card, or PayPal is accepted on our website. For security reasons we are not able to accept gift debit/credit cards. Your credit card is charged automatically by our website when you place the order. We do not see your credit card number.

If you have trouble placing your order online please make sure the address you entered matches the billing address on your card exactly. The 3 digit CVV code on the back of your card is required (4 digit on front of AMEX). If you still have problems contact us.

Pictures of items are for representative purposes only and may vary in color or design from the depiction. VMP Performance reserves the right to discontinue or revise an item or kit at any time without notice. If you have specific questions about parts or components in kits please call us for clarification prior to making an online purchase.

Shipping Info:

When checking out please select the shipping method you would prefer. You may select UPS Ground, Overnight, 2-day, or 3-day. An email option is available for tune files.You will automatically receive an invoice/receipt from our website, if you do not check your SPAM blocker. If you selected UPS you will automatically be sent a tracking email when the item is shipped. If you did not receive an email your ISP may be blocking the emails, this usually happens with AOL accounts. Some spam blockers will block this notification, if you believe that is the case please email us for a tracking number.

Due to the potential for online fraud we can only ship to the billing address on your credit card or the confirmed address on your Paypal account, if you require the item to be shipped to a different address please call us. Non-matching billing and shipping addresses must be approved by a phone call to us prior to placing your order.

SELECTING OVERNIGHT, TWO-DAY, or THREE-DAY SHIPPING DOES NOT GUARANTEE YOUR ORDER WILL SHIP THE SAME DAY, THERE IS STILL PROCESSING TIME TO ACCOUNT FOR. While many items are in stock and may ship 'same day' if the order is placed before 12 noon eastern time, some items require the build out of a kit or may need to be accessed as a special order from one of our suppliers. If there is more than a 72 hour delay on the shipping of hard goods we will attempt to notify you via email.

Custom tuning takes 7-10 business days minimum, which excludes weekends, holidays, and vacations and may take longer in some cases. If you need the tune file quickly we recommend the Expedite Tune File option.

UPS and FedEx packages are picked up daily. First class and USPS International shipping methods take slightly longer.

Because U.S., Canadian, and other international, state or provincial laws and regulations may prohibit removal or modification of components that were installed on vehicles by Ford Motor Company to meet emission requirements or to comply with motor vehicle safety regulations applicable to vehicles manufactured for use on public roads, VMP wants you to know the following:

Most of the Mustang parts and services offered in this online catalog are for off-road use or competition use only. Use on State and Federal Highways may be a violation of the EPA Clean Air Act. The Clean Air Act can be found athttp://www.epa.gov/air/caa/.This document contains in detail what are considered to be violations of the CAA and corresponding penalties for failure to obey and should be read in full before purchasing or installing this off-road or race use only product. Ensuring that all emissions, noise/sound, and speed/use related laws are followed is the responsibility of the Buyer(s). Installation and use of this product indicates that this disclaimer has been read, acknowledged, and understood fully by both the Buyer(s) and Installer(s). The Buyer(s) assume all associated risk of the purchase.

Emissions Notice:

IT IS OUR POLICY TO NOT DISABLE ANY FEDERALLY MANDATED EMISSIONS EQUIPMENT NOR MONITORS ON ANY VEHICLE WITH A VEHICLE IDENTIFICATION NUMBER (VIN). IT IS A FEDERAL OFFENSE FOR US TO DO SO.

Federal and several state and provincial laws prohibit the removal, modification or rendering inoperative of any part that affects emissions or safety on motor vehicles used on public streets or highways. VMP assumes no liability for any violations arising out of any federal, state or provincial emissions or safety requirements on motor vehicles arising out of the customer’s modifications and/or use of our products or services. It is the responsibility of the customer to determine if their modified vehicle complies with applicable laws.

California Residents:

VMP does not currently offer tuning nor performance parts (engine, fueling, exhaust, intake and other associated engine components) for vehicles registered in California. We do not ship any of these components to California, either directly nor through our dealer network. We do sell and ship lots of parts for suspension, drive-train components such as drive shafts, gears, axles, etc as well as many custom appearance parts. Any orders received from, shipping to or to be used on a vehicle registered in California will be promptly refunded.

Policies:

Returned orders are subject to a restocking fee of 10%. Items must be in new and unused condition. Returns only accepted for 30 days. No refunds on shipping fees. Contact us before returning an item. Prices are subject to change. Items that do not carry a manufacturers warranty are covered by us for 30 days unless otherwise noted. Defective products will be replaced or repaired. Custom Tuning is non-refundable. Custom tuning and tuning subscription services are non-transferable and non-refundable.

*There are absolutely no refunds on custom tuning. Tuning labor is not refundable, modified vehicles can be highly variable and have different problems and issues that may be difficult to diagnose over the internet. We will work with you to solve any issues with your vehicle but you must be able to datalog if necessary, all datalogging support is handled via email. Important note: VMP Performance will update, on a complimentary basis, one primary tune for any new modification purchased from us that requires such an update. Additional variations of the primary tune are available at a discounted fee as described on the UPDATE product page.

Updates and revisions for items not purchased directly through us are available at a nominal fee (currently less than $50 USD for a single tune file).

All VMP Performance products are designed solely for off-road use only. Consult your local laws as to the legality of use on your vehicle.

Warranty Disclaimer

Certain VMP Performance parts and parts sold by VMP Performance are not sold with a warranty. Such parts are sold “as is”, “with all faults”, “as they stand” and without any express warranty whatsoever, unless otherwise expressly designated herein. To the fullest extent allowed by the state and federal law, VMP Performance expressly disclaims the implied warranties of merchantability and of fitness for a particular purpose, even if a particular purpose is mentioned herein. VMP Performance also expressly disclaims all liability for direct, indirect, special, incidental or consequential damages, including but not limited to, damage or loss of property or equipment, loss of profits or revenue, cost of purchase or replacement of goods, or claims of customers of the purchaser that result from the use of any and all parts or vehicles contained in this catalog. In no event shall the liability of VMP Performance or VMP Tuning, Inc., whether in tort, contract or otherwise, exceed the cost of the part or vehicle. However, you may have legal rights which vary from state to state.

Should any parts contained within our online catalog or retail store prove defective following their purchase, the buyer and not the manufacturer, distributor or retailer, shall assume the entire cost of all necessary servicing and/or repair. The entire risk as to the performance of such parts or vehicles is with the buyer.

Any parts sold with any warranty contrary to this Disclaimer shall be specifically labeled as such and such warranty shall have a limited length of 12 months from date of purchase and VMP Performance’s liability shall be limited to the replacement of said part with a new or reconditioned item of equal or greater value and serviceability. The purchaser is responsible for obtaining a Return Merchandise Authorization from the Customer Service tab on our website at VMPPerformance.com and the cost of return postage. If the returned item is deemed unserviceable for reasons of manufacturing or workmanship, a replacement will be sent to you at our cost. The returned item must be sent to us with a trackable shipping source.

We are not responsible for owner-installation of any of our parts or kits. We urge you to contact our Customer Service Center prior to purchase if you have questions regarding your level of ability to install the item(s). We are not responsible for any damage during installation. Damaged components may not be returned for any reason.
