The first component of the upgrade VMP has optimized is the belt drive system. The factory belt drive system on the Coyote does not support the Predator supercharger's front-end accessory drive (FEAD).
The VMP Street FEAD kit allows for driving the supercharger efficiently. The kit enables you to run the Predator supercharger on a Coyote while keeping your factory front cover and 6-rib balancer.
This kit uses our revised street FEAD bracket for the optimal amount of belt wrap and supercharger pulley clearance. When using a pulley bigger than factory (3.0+), call the VMP sales team and specify what pulley size, they will make sure the right bracket is sent. A pulley size of 3.3" - 3.6" will be required to safely operate your Coyote on pump gasoline, as the Coyote engine is higher compression than the Predator engine.
